Decided giving a shot at doing animatics before i jump right into animating. Also for this animation I want to have a nice matte painting in the background to show off my painting abilities for my portfolio. I learned quite a bit of Adobe After Effects by working on this as well as learned a couple issues that were unforseen. Such as I'll need to paint a portion of the background that I didn't expect I'd have to paint (the bottom right corner). This was because I initially was going to have the camera pan up, stop, then pan right. However, I found that this much panning was too distracting for such a short amount of time. The single pan to the top right makes it look much nicer I think, but in turn means I'll need to paint the bottom right of the background.
This animation is going to be for the 11 second club which is due by the end of the month. I feel like this project is fairly ambitious but I also feel like I've learned a lot over the past few months to where I'll be able to complete it on time! *fingers crossed*
